Week of October 4th

Wow! What a difference a week makes! The wonderful fall weather really had me and my family busy this weekend. It seems that overnight, the leaves on some of the trees have started to change color, and we’ve had to unpack the jeans and sweaters!

This week in science we will continue our study of tectonic plate movements, focusing on convergent and transform boundaries. The test will be this Friday, October 8th. I will offer a study group on the morning of Thursday, October 7th at 7:45 am.

The science tutoring for the scientific method test has been rescheduled for Tuesday, October 5th, after school. I will stay until 4:15 for students who need help making corrections on the test.

Friday, October 8th is a half-day. Dismissal is at 12:30.

Our first skating party of the year is this Thursday from 6-8 pm. Admission is $4. Hope to see you there!

The Sunshine Run is this Saturday! We have lots of students and teachers (including myself) participating! Can’t wait to see how our students do this year!

Have a great week! 🙂
