Week of November 1st

This week in science, we are now ready to wrap up our unit on fossils. Early in the week, students will present their “Ice Age” Project posters and will also participate in a fossil “dig.” Our test over fossils (Ch. 4) will be Thursday. There will be a study group for this test on Wednesday morning at 7:50 am. On Friday, we will begin our next unit over rocks and soil.

Character word for November is CARING!

Thanks to all who contributed to the “One for Books” Challenge. Mrs. Staley was very excited that we met our shcool goal. That means new books for our own library and new books for communities in need!

Don’t forget about our yearly Thanksgiving food drive. Yellow team is responsible for boxed dessert mixes.

The Veteran’s Day Assembly is next Thursday. If you have a veteran in your family that you’d like to invite to the assembly, please let us know. We’d like to honor them in a special way at the assembly.

Have a great week! 🙂
