This week in science we will continue to study minerals. We will be working primarily on using the properties of minerals to identify them. We will have a mineral identification lab on Tuesday. Hopefully, we will also work on a fun activity about mining that involves cookies! We will not get to the assessment over this chapter until after the break.
I am still in need of several packages of chocolate chip cookies for our mining lab. If you are able to help out with this, please check out my “Wish List” page for more information!
Homeroom students and parents- be sure to check out the “Wish List” page to the right. We are still in need of several items for Friday’s party!
Student council will be having a cookie sale before school on Tuesday and Wednesday. Cookies are 25 cents each.
Friday is 25 cent hat day benefitting the Salvation Army. Friday is also an early release at 12:30.
We are still accepting donations for the mitten tree in the lobby. Please send in new hats, scarves, or mittens.
I want to take a moment to thank all of my wonderful students and parents. We have had a wonderful year so far, and I am thankful for the parent support that I receive from you. Your students have been a joy to work with. I wish each of you the warmest blessings this Christmas. Enjoy the break and I’ll see you January 3rd.
