Week of May 16th

This week in science we will begin to finish up the year with our astronomy unit. This does not leave us much time, so we will briefly review rotation vs revolution and how these movements cause day, night, and seasons. We’ll also review moon phases. By the end of the week, we’ll be comparing and contrasting other planets with Earth and one another. The quiz over this unit will be next Wednesday. There is no text, so students must use the handouts and assignments given in class to study.

Important Dates:

5/18- Transition Day

5/19- I-Choose store; 6th grade party 6-8 pm

5/27- Last Day (early release at 12:30)

Have a great week!
