Week of August 29th

What an amazingly beautiful Ozarks weekend. I hope everyone had a chance to get out and enjoy it. My family and I spent the weekend on the lake and it was well worth it! Hopefully, there will be a few more of those weekends left before we head into the fall.

This week in science we will continue our scientific method unit, focusing on identifying variables and developing a hypothesis. I have a few more interesting labs planned to help students learn about each of these important process skills. Thanks to all the parents who helped out by sending in M&M’s and Jolly Ranchers last week!

Wednesday, August 31st will be our fall fundraiser kickoff. Students will learn all about how they can help at an assembly at 10 am.

Our first Running Club meeting will be held Wednesday, August 31st. We hope you’ll join us! Be sure to turn permsission slips in and have a ride to pick up students at 4:30.

Go Green Club will have their first meeting Tuesday, September 6th. Permission slips are available in Mrs. Skaggs’ office.

REMINDER: There is no school on Monday, September 5th in observance of Labor Day.

Picture Day will be Friday, September 9th.

Have a great week! 🙂
