Week of October 24th

We finally made it to the pumpkin patch this weekend and Gracie picked out a very nice pumpkin. Now it’s time to plan a great theme for our trunk for the upcoming “trunk or treat” event at our church. Let me know if you have ideas! 😉

This week in science, we will continue our study of fossils. Students will learn about the different types of rock fossils and how they form. Students will also make their very own cast and mold fossils. We will also examine how scientists use fossils to study Earth’s past.

It’s conference week! I sent reminders home with students last week. If this time no longer works for you, please call or email and we can reschedule. Conferences will last about 15 minutes. I encourage you to bring your student with you to their conference.

A BIG thanks to all who helped by sending in items to the fall class party. A special thanks to Mrs. Havens for volunteering her time to organize and host the event.

Due to conferences this week, many after school clubs, activities, and tutoring will not be held.

REMINDER: There is no school this Friday, October 28th.

Have great week! 🙂
