Week of October 15th

This week in science we’ll continue to learn about how Earth’s surface is constantly changing. After reviewing the three major plate boundaries, we’ll spend more time studying each geologic event and landform in detail. In addition to our normal class activities this week, I’ve also assigned an independent unit project. Your student should bring home a letter outlining twelve project choices. Students may choose 30 points worth of work from this list of possible projects. All projects are due no later than Monday, October 29th.

If you have not yet signed up for a conference time with your child’s homeroom teacher, please do so as soon as possible. First quarter grades, fall DRA results, and MAP scores will be discussed at these conferences.
