This week in science, students will show us what they’ve learned about the rock cycle by taking their own journey through it. They’ll document their rock’s journey through the cycle, and then tell the story by creating a comic strip. Later in the week, students will begin learning more about igneous rocks.
Tuesday 2/5 is the mid-quarter cut-off date. We’ve had a lot of absences, so please be sure to check with your child and their teachers to make sure they are caught up. Progress reports will go home next Monday 2/11.
I’m having many kids come to class without supplies like pencils, paper, scissors, colored pencils, and glue. I usually don’t mind to loan kids these supplies when needed, but my baskets are also nearly empty. It makes class activities take a lot longer when many students have to wait around to share my few pairs of scissors. Please check on your child’s school supplies and replenish any that are low. If you need assistance with school supplies, please let me know!
Have a great week!
