Week of March 18th

This week in science students will learn more about some specific types of landforms that are created as a result of weathering and erosion. Students will also more closely examine the composition of soil. By the end of the week, students will learn about the various properties of soi in preparation for a soil testing lab.

All needed materials for the soil sundae lab have been purchased and turned in. Thank you so much if you were able to donate. We are still accepting bagged soil samples through the end of the week for the soil testing lab. Don’t forget to mark the bag with a location of where the soil came from (backyard, creek, pasture, etc).

This week is Down Syndrome Awareness Week! Look for a note to come home that outlines some great awareness activities that students can participate in.

Report cards go home Tuesday. The top portion should be signed and returned to the homeroom teacher.

Our spring fundraiser kickoff assembly will be Tuesday at 3 pm.

Spring pictures are coming up! Students will be photographed individually and with our class on Tuesday, March 26th. Fliers will be coming home soon!

Don’t forget to save the date!! Our annual Talent Night will be Thursday, March 28th. Plan to come out and see what has become one of the most entertaining nights in the Willard School District!
