Week of March 25th

This week in science we’ll be finishing our unit on weathering and soil. Early in the week, students will examine the human impact on soil and how soil erosion can be prevented. Students will be tested over this unit on Thursday. There will be study groups before and after school on Tuesday. Study guides will also go home on Tuesday.

Spring pictures will be Tuesday. Students will be photographed both individually and with our class.

Students will have the opportunity to visit the I-choose store on Wednesday. Students may spend any stamps they have earned so far this year.

Students can sell chance-to-win tickets through this Thursday. We have set a class goal of 125 tickets in order to earn a class party.

Don’t forget! This Thursday night is our annual Talent Night. This year it will take place at the high school theater. In between the 5th and 6th grade acts, the winners of the chance-to-win fundraiser will be announced so don’t forget to get your tickets this week!

NO SCHOOL on Friday or Monday. Enjoy the break!

Have a great week! 🙂 🙂
