This week in science, students will study how Earth’s crustal plates move and create landforms like mountains and volcanoes. We will continue to use our new textbook, along with a cut and paste plate model and several in-class demonstrations. Don’t forget that the textbook has many resources available online and all students were shown how to log-in to the resources last week. Also, thanks to all who donated candy bars- we will use them this week to learn more about convergent boundaries. Be sure to ask your child to explain!
Don’t forget! Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held the week of October 21st. If your child is in my homeroom, please visit my VolunteerSpot page to sign up for a time. Click on the following link or copy and paste it into your browser: http://vols.pt/Qwt9GC
Our fall party is quickly approaching and we need your help. Your child will bring home a letter on Tuesday from our homeroom mom, so please be sure to ask them for it! You can also view a copy at the link below, however it will not have the specific item for which you’ve been asked to donate. Please return the form at the bottom of the letter ASAP!
