Week of October 21st

This week in science, students will continue to learn about how the Earth’s crust is affected my the motion of the plates at different plate boundaries. After reviewing convergent boundaries at the beginning of the week, we’ll move on to divergent and transform boundaries. Students will continue to work with the plate boundary model that we created last week.

Don’t forget! This week, Parent-Teacher Conferences are being held. If you have not signed up, there are still times available. Just follow this link to sign up: http://vols.pt/Qwt9GC. If you’ve forgotten when your conference is, let me know and I can send you a reminder. I’m looking forward to visiting with all of you about your child’s progress! (If you are comfortable, please bring your child with you to conferences.)

REMINDER: There is NO SCHOOL this Friday, 10/25!

Next week is Red Ribbon Week- students received a schedule outlining our spirit days. Let’s celebrate being drug-free!

Our fall party is quickly approaching and we need your help. Your child was given a letter last week from our homeroom mom. You can also view a copy at the link below, however it will not have the specific item for which you’ve been asked to donate. Please return the form at the bottom of the letter ASAP!
