Week of January 27th

This week in science, we will wrap up our study of rocks. Students will learn more about the three classes of rocks and how to identify them. The test will be this Thursday, January 30th. Keep in mind that some of this material was covered before Christmas break so it is extremely important that students take some additional time to study. I will offer a study group on Wednesday morning at 7:45.

This Friday is a 25 cent hat day.

Please remember that students should not bring their personal electronic devices into the classroom. This includes cell phones, mp3 players, handheld games consoles, and tablets.  These devices, if brought to school, must stay locked in the lockers during the school day. (The only exception to this rule is for e-readers. Students may utilize e-readers for reading ONLY.) If you have questions, you may refer to this school policy in the student handbook.

Our class Valentine’s Day parties will take place on Friday, February 14th, which is a scheduled snow make-up day.

Have a great week!
