Week of November 30th

I hope everyone had a restful Thanksgiving. We have just a few short weeks until the rush of Christmas is upon us. In science, we have a lot to do!

This week’s learning targets in science:

  • Identify fossils as evidence of some types of organisms that once lived in the past, and have since become extinct, have similarities with and differences from organisms living today.

This week in science, we will be working on our Ice Age research project where students will compare and contrast a prehistoric extinct organism to a modern day still-living organism. We will also review for the Unit 4 post-test.

Our Unit  4 post-test over fossils will be THIS Friday, December 4th. I will offer two study groups on Thursday- before school at 7:45 and after school until 4:30.

Have a great week!
